Full body harness
It is a very important device for working at heights. If working at heights without wearing a safety belt, it is very dangerous for workers at heights, unless there is another protection system to support, such as a guardrail or a fall protection fence, etc.
The safety belt has the function of supporting the worker wearing the equipment by connecting to the lifeline or Lanyard which is connected to the anchoring point on the building or various structures to prevent falling from heights. This full-body safety belt is designed to support the body and has at least 1 connection point for the connector to the Lanyard or D-Ring. The anchoring point is located at the back of the suit (when wearing the safety belt, the anchoring point will be at the back of the wearer’s head). In addition to the D-Ring at the back of the head that comes with the standard safety belt, some safety belts are designed with special D-Rings at various points of the safety belt to suit each job, such as at the chest, both waists. In addition, there are safety belt sets made of special materials for specific jobs, such as safety belt sets made of non-conductive materials for work at heights involving electricity or suits with spark protection for welding at heights. |
